EVENTS

Please see our Events Calendar, below, for events put on by the club and other groups. If there's an event you know about and would like to add it to our calendar, please do let us know!

SUNDAY BRUNCHES & INDUSTRY/MUSEUM TOURS

There seems to be enough interest in doing a dockside Sunday brunch and setting up some local marine industry or museum tours. If you have thoughts about either, send ‘em our way. Some ideas for a brunch spot are Ivar’s in Seattle or Randy’s in Anacortes. Both sound great. Any thoughts on where and when? As for industry visits or museum tours, please send your wish list our way (or best yet, let us know if you can help arrange something; thanks!!).

Drop us a note and tell us your ideas so we can set something up.

DIRECTORY REMINDER

We're putting together a membership directory, which will be sent out to members (only) later in the year. If you haven't already, PLEASE send in an update form or drop us a note, plus, as always, send us boat photos and histories or project updates. Thanks!!

NEWSLETTER

We are trying to reduce the number of paper newsletters we send out (to save funds and paper) by sending out as many electronically as possible. Plus, if you read the newsletter as a .pdf, you'll get all the pictures in color! So, if you don't mind getting an email-only newsletter in the future, please let us know in email or by filling out a membership update form.

For more news and notes, check out our newsletter archive, below. We'll be adding past newsletters as we scan them in, so watch this space!

IRTA Events

Sept 3-5, 2010

Olympia Harbor Days

The de facto IRTA event of Late Summer, Olympia Harbor Days is a great opportunity to bring your boat or bring yourselves and meet up with fellow IRTA'ers, enter the tugboat races, admire the craftsmanship of the tugboat models on display, show your boat to the public, and attend the Harbor Days festivities. If you think you will be attending Harbor Days this year, let us know and we'll keep you updated on the IRTA potluck schedule, etc.

For more information on Harbor Days, including boat registration forms if you plan on bringing your boat, check out their web site: www.HarborDays.com

TBD

Sunday Brunch

We've gotten a suggestion for a Sunday Brunch on Ivar's waterside patio on Seattle's Lake Union. If that sounds good, drop us a line with dates that would work for you, and we'll get the word out.

Other Groups' Events

If there are other events that would be of interest to the group, please let us know, so we can add them to our calendar.
